Illinois Concealed Carry license Application


When applying online with the Illinois State Police for your Illinois Concealed Carry License.

You will be required to submit your

-Name

=Current address

=Birthdate

=Place of birth

=Height, weight

=Hair color, eye color

=Maiden name or any other name you have used or identified with

=Any address where you have resided for more than 30 days within the 10 years preceding the date of the license application

-Valid driver's license number or valid state identification card number


You will affirm that you possesses a valid Firearm Owner’s Identification Card and if not then note that you will be applying for one in conjunction with the license application.

You will need to affirm that you have not been convicted or found guilty of

(A) a felony;

(B) a misdemeanor involving the use or threat of physical force or violence to any person within the 5 years preceding the date of the application; or

(C) 2 or more violations related to driving while under the influence of alcohol, other drug or drugs, intoxicating compound or compounds, or any combination thereof, within the 5 years preceding the date of the license application; and

whether the applicant has failed a drug test for a drug for which the you did not have a prescription, within the previous year.

You will submit your Illinois digital driver's license or Illinois identification card photograph and signature.


A full set of fingerprints may be submitted in electronic format. The State Police may accept an application submitted without a set of fingerprints in which case the Illinois State Police shall be granted 30 days in addition to the 90 days to issue or deny your license.


You will then be asked to upload a head and shoulder color photograph taken within the 30 days preceding the date of the license application.

You will then upload a photocopy of your completed certificate and other certificates which support compliance of any training requirements taken in the past. Completing your Illinois Concealed Carry Application is pretty straight forward as long as you follow all their instructions as you fill it out.
